So, here’s the thing — if you’re going to call your song Music That Makes You Feel Good, then you’d better be ready to deliver. Expectations are high. It’s a bold move. Brave, even.
But you guessed it… Rebecca Riggo and Moonpie absolutely nail it.
This four-minute funk-fest is exactly what it says on the label — feel-good feelings from the first play. It’s like someone bottled the good vibes from a summer street party (which we don’t have them in Sweden but I’m being creative here), sprinkled in bouncy synths, and handed it over with a wink and a cold drink.
Built on playful indie disco grooves and glittery vocal layers it’s about comforting someone when they need it most — heartbreak, loss, or just a crappy Tuesday. Rebecca even wrote it while pregnant, imagining what would soothe her soon-to-be-born daughter when she cried. (That’s real motivation right there.)
As soon as the first chorus hits, you’ll be humming along as your primal instincts kick in.
Rebecca Riggo and Moonpie (Paulina Delin & Fredrik Serholt) are new names to Scandinavian soul. But not anymore. They pushed straight to the front with groove and sunshine and said, “Let’s make your day better.”
A humourist start actually comes through loud and proud on the cover art, which riffs on a TikTok baby mama dance trend. See below!

Add in those deliciously spongy keys (yes, spongy — like musical marshmallows) and an irresistible rhythm section, and you’ve got something seriously uplifting.
So, if you’re in need of a mood booster, this is for you. Take one play of Music That Makes You Feel Good, share it with fun-loving people, and let it do its thing.
Scandinavian Soul, bringing you music that doesn’t just sound good… it feels good too!
