Norwegian artist Sofia Aarvik has released her new single SnowFall and unveils the first single tailored for the glittering festive season.
Scandinavian ‘soulful’ Christmas tracks are still relatively uncommon, so this comes as a particularly welcome gift.
90’s influenced, combing neo-soul flavours and spongy bass notes, Sofias’ rich vocals pour her sentimental thoughts into a sonically playful song about daring to love and let go of the past. Written during Norway’s pandemic lockdown, the theme focuses on a couple surviving after months of isolation.
“The Snowfall covers the Old….‘
The romantic sonics capture the seasons’ ambience with an uplifting promise of better times ahead.

Meanwhile…let it snow.
