Swedish singer Molly Hammar releases an R&B/pop banger for this summer’s nightclubs and dancefloors.
‘WORDS’ was written with Molly’s childhood friend Benjamin Ingrosso and produced by Hampus Lindvall (Icona Pop/Zara Larsson). The result has the production, catchy hook and instant appeal to set alight international commercial charts and radio playlists. Far more pop than we usually post there are sometimes we have to make exceptions and this is one.
Speaking about the track, Molly said “’Words’ is a song that I’ve been wanting to release ever since that hot summer’s day in the studio. It’s about a very common subject…how we seldom dare to open up and be honest with each other, we just don’t talk about what really matters. I hope this song will make people open their hearts and open up to each other too.”
We recently heard the R&B singer on her previous single ‘No Place Like Me’ featuring UK grime legend Big Narstie and was immediately taken with her sassy attitude and sublime vocals range.

This year Molly was invited to perform at the Swedish Grammys after an Aretha Franklin tribute she recorded with two friends went viral. The next few months will see the release of another single and a second EP.
Now bring on the sunshine!
