VIDEO PREMIERE: Gaél / Regnar

Newcomer Gaél doesn’t burst into the growing Swedish soulful music scene. Instead, he calmly walks in and gently caresses our ears and eyes.

Gaél’s debut single is called Regnar (Raining) and is produced in Asobo Sounds studio, central Stockholm. The video, directed by Simon Jung Krestesen, includes actors from the Royal Dramatic Theatre and it makes quite an impact.

Sung in Swedish this track has a smooth folk-soul feel. The video is clever, mesmerising and emotional, which combines perfectly with this absorbing and beautiful track.

Gaél chose not to release something in his name earlier until he felt that everything was at the right level. He was right to wait – it’s a very impressive entrance indeed!
