Possibly one of the hottest funk tracks you’ll hear all year, Do You Feel It? Band of Pockets have been a prolific name in the Scandinavian soul scene since 2020 with Johan Nilsson providing immaculate production and US artist Yona Marie on vocals. In this ‘car wash’, she seems to allow Johan to drive as the lyrics take a back seat to this funky single.
Starsky and Hutch couldn’t have started this song better! The track sets off at wheel spinning speed as it travels back to the 70’s with its tight rhythm section, fiery electric guitar and vibrant harmonica.
