Swedish duo Hannes present their new single – Similar. This alternative/R&B track glides with an alluring, rhythmic tempo overlaid with Hannes’s warm vocals. A song about connection indeed connects and the feeling of travelling along streets at night, as seen in the artwork, feels captured in the essence of the song.
Previously described by myself as a ‘solo singer’ Hannes consists of singer/songwriter Hannes Jonsson and producer Tom White.
I’ve been an enormous champion of Hannes since their superb debut single I Went to the Jungle (2017)’, and this summer has been a time of continued growth. Opening for Seinabo Sey at the Way Out West Festival, the pair performed a duet of Hannes’s song ‘My Shine Is A Fade‘. We hope a recording exists, as I know these exceptional vocalists would have been magical together.
