After a two-year hiatus Swedish singer Seinabo Sey’s returns, fierce and bold with a new single/ video – I Owe You Nothing, premiering today.
The new dark, soul/pop single is produced by MagnusTheMagnus (aka Magnus Lidehäll) and its’ clear Seinabo’s certainly isn’t taking any shit.

Beautifully styled (Selam Ghirmay Fessahaye) and gorgeously directed by Sheila Johansson, the video doesn’t entertain you with dance routines or implied sex. Instead, it meets you with a steely gaze and pre-explosive attitude.
In the wake of the incredible movie Black Panther, global Black pride has never been so high, timing this release perfectly. Seinabo Sey, whose performance of Hard Times at the Swedish Grammies 2016 will live long in the memory, continues to define the words captivating and rebellion.
