Inspired by love, Danish trio Lola release a dreamy, neo-soul single – Deep Soul.
From the opening melody, the track floats and glides with smooth, soulful goodness. R&B songstress Mikala Bosetti (previously known as the artist – Mikala) gives a passionate, mellow and tender vocal accompanied by wonderfully warm piano keys and rich guitar chords.
I wrote this song last summer with my best friend, Olle. This song is very very special to me because about this time last year I met the love of my life. It was the scariest and most vulnerable feeling to give into and opening myself up to someone again. There’s a million songs written about love, about falling in love and how that’s the most magical thing in the world, but I think in the beginning it can feel like a big dark ocean that can swallow you whole. Especially when you’re about to give your heart to someone at the risk of getting your heartbroken. There’s nothing you can do to prepare for it. Just dive in with everything that you have and everything you are. It is in a way also like falling more in love with yourself again. Anyway, I give this song to you as a piece of my heart, and I hope you’ll treat it with love and care. – Lola
