Tunisian-Norwegian artist escapes heartache with smooth R&B.
Based in Oslo, Tunisian-Norwegian singer/songwriter Nedja follows up her solid R&B debut Flower Boy with new single – Over It.
Produced by Heine Aabø, and released via Mutual Intentions, Over It hears Nedja rejecting lingering heartache of the past with a mellow R&B single. Driven by self-empowerment Nedjas’ vocals provides warmth alongside soft bass notes and tight side-stick licks.
Flower Boy delivers
Throbbing with bass and a catchy chorus made Nedjas’ debut Flower Boy an instant R&B nugget. The simplicity here does enough to hook long after the track finishes. Curiously, the song was released only with a short video, but this teaser teases nicely. Directed by Mohamed Chakiri, it adds a smile and leaves you eager for the complete story.
