Swedish producer Rasmus Faber celebrates his 15th year of producing house music with a series of fresh, soulful, funk and disco-inspired house tracks for 2018 starting with his first release.
The track is called ‘What Do You Do’ and is a nu-disco / funk-infused house track featuring UK chanteuse Renae Rain. Together they marry UK inspired bass sounds into a nu-disco / funk infused soulful house track.
For a couple of years, Rasmus left the Swedish shores and has been playing live to thousands around the world with his jazz, funk and Latin-inspired live bands ‘Platina Jazz’ (7 albums) and Rafa Orchestra, as well as composing music for anime TV and film productions, co-writing and producing.

Now back home, this first single also demonstrates Rasmus’s love for his club-land roots and perfectly complements the announcement of his new twice-monthly Friday night residency at Stockholm’s longest-running soul and jazz club ‘Fasching’. Called ‘Rafa Sessions’ the evenings’ house groove is provided by pure live instrumentation and #3 starts tonight (9 Feb 2018).
