With a torch in hand, we head out during the cold, dark, winter months in an exploration of warm, soulful vibes in the Nordics, and it’s always a delight to stumble across tracks that will cause us to sit down and pause.

Tasting Minds by Moskowitz & Katja Welner is such a track.

Katja Welner, who hails from Denmark, is a new singer to our ears and this single introduces us to her smooth R&B vocals, similar to Erykah Badu and Nanna B.

Together with Moskowitz (Johannes Tougaard), the single delivers deliciously deep bass, embroidered with layered effects. The result is five minutes of highly-listenable, seductive, mid-tempo vibes.

Think we’ll stay here awhile.
