Saima celebrates the season with new single / Favorite time of year

Season greetings from Norway are unwrapped with the new release from Saima – Favorite Time Of Year.
The Christmas single hears Saima’s warm, soulful tones embraces feelings of joy as she celebrates the season while reflecting the past.
‘Combining R&B and Christmas is a dream come true! I normally celebrate the holidays doing all kinds of music on stage in my home town. This year, because of the current pandemic, people will not be able to celebrate as normal, including myself, so I decided to make a little extra present for me – my own version of one of my favourite Christmas songs. Maybe someone else can enjoy this as well’ – Saima
Originally written by Aaron W. Linsey and India.Arie, in a touching note, Saima recently lost her own grandma, so she also replaced the original lyrics: “….grandpas gone too soon….”
Hailing from Trondheim in Norway with part Pakistani roots, Saima announced herself into the soul/R&B world in 2020 with her debut single You Make Me (feat Son of light).
We eagerly expect to unwrap more R&B and soul from Saima in 2021.
