Out now is the new single and video – Rescue Me by Louam.
‘Rescue Me’ is her fifth single release, a song she co-wrote with Swedish songwriter Rabih Jaber and Angus ‘Lowgan‘ Trujillo, and Norwegian songwriter Iselin Solheim.
Describing the song Louam explained, “This is a (break up) song for those who don’t believe in rebounds, but rather to focus on yourself, both mentally and physically. You just gotta rescue your goddamn self, don’t let anybody hold you down!“
The Norwegian singer might have changed her look since we first discovered her on the track All Good, but her upbeat R&B/Pop sounds has remained consistent. The beat is always tight, and the production infused with sweet 90’s/00’s R&B flavour.
The stylishly produced video accompanying her new single, directed by Mathias Fossdal was shot on location in Cape Town, South Africa. Commercial radio will be doing Louam a great disservice if they don’t add this to their playlists.
