Daughter of Iranian parents, Venus Remi (what a great name) grew up on the Swedish West coast listening to Gogoosh and Timbaland. Spending her adolescent youth in Stockholm she soaked up the underground queer and urban scene, inspiring her to create her own contemporary R&B, Hip-hop and ‘popish vibes.
